I loved the first MP and will probably play the second very soon. Like others have said, it's not really a FPS. It's an adventure game that acts like a FPS. I will probably be buying this game when it comes out. Other games on other consoles will look better, but Metroid is more fun than most imo.
I'd rather have a new console every 5-6 years rather than 10. A company that gives me a new console in 5-6 years will offer graphics and technology far superior to its 10 year cycle competition. In fact by the time the competition came out with a new system, the company with the shorter life span would be well on its way to providing yet another superior system.
I always want top of the line. If it means buying new consoles more often in order to keep getting the best, I can...
I like the direction the series is taking. Chaos Theory kicked the series into high gear and I still say it was the best. I think Double Agent was pretty good, but I like to see Ubisoft Montreal making a new one. Theirs tend to be better than the Shanghai teams' SC games.
I'm looking forward to this game. Looks very fun.
I doubt it's a free headset. I mean sure, it comes free with the BD version, but how much mor are they going to charge for it over the downloadable one? This will be good for people without a headset because it will be an inexpensive way to get one, but it's not exactly free.
Crackdown is a good game and I bought it with no interest in the H3 beta, especially after playing the demo.
There is a source link at the bottom of the page with more info.

This apparently happened in England.
In my days, I've probably killed upwards of a million people in video games. The fact that I've killed not 100, not 10, not even 1 real person should mean something. These folks only draw attention to the few people they think killed someone due to video games, never to the millions that know better. If anything is contributing to people not knowing better than to kill people, it's probably abusive parenting or lack of parenting. What it isn't is video games.
They do that all the time on X360.
I got a 4 gig Sony branded stick off ebay for under $50. That was a much better deal than this imo.
There'd better be deathclaws. They're a fan favorite. My favorite character in Fallout 2 was the deathclaw you could have join your party.
Annex was released in an earlier update.
Developers shouldn't get lazy and cut off a large portion of their game, but he may be on to something. My situation is that I have all 3 consoles and both handhelds and also play the BC games that I never got the chance to play earlier. That makes for a lot of games I end up with. I also work and the friends I hang out with are generally not gamers. I usually only get the chance to play games on my days off. Sometimes I find myself wishing games were shorter so I could finish the stack ...
True but in that case the ports were better.
I agree, Burnout songs piss me off. I've owned Burnout 3 and Revenge on Xbox and then Revenge again on 360. All of those games supported custom soundtracks from the HDD. I could never imagine having to listen to the original soundtrack while playing Burnout.
Have you played it? No story line and 5 types of enemies, well yeah that's true. But the game was very loud and filled with explosions. I bought it for Xbox as soon as they made it BC for 360 because I was so impressed after playing it on my friend's PS2. I think it was easily one of the best last gen shooters. I will be buying Black 2.
If power was all that mattered to devs in the long run, the Xbox would have trashed the PS2. In fact, so would the Gamecube. Power is nice, but as the Playstation franchise itself has proven, it's not everything.
You would.
Jack Thompson is a complete moron and even the media knows this. As long as he keeps ranting like he does, he will keep hurting the anti-gaming cause. If they got rid of him, the anti-gamers may get a more articulate spokesperson who can actually seem to make sense. That would be far scarier than having this raving lunatic who makes nearly as many enemies on his own side as ours. That is why I say we need Jack Thompson. Lesser of two evils and all that.
Finally, a game I can play when my motor skills aren't quite up to par.
